I am frustratec. I have added many photos to my groups. I have spent an hour today and can't remember how to do it. I go to the icon above for photos but I can't get to photos on my fire tablet. I can get to camera but when I take a picture I can't attach it. 

I was able to switch to my phone and add a photo..so please dont spend any time on my last post.

in response to the question on how to post a picture to a group I've done it here. put cursor inside the message window and then click on the icon for 'add image'.

I saw something here (in IUOMA) about "Train Art mail" and would like some information about it. Unfortunately, I can't find my way back to where I saw it to begin with!

Another possibility is to look at your browser's history and search it for the words such as "train art mail"

Wow, I totally missed that mail art call so thanks for posting the link to the book by Paulo Teles, William M. That is just wonderful. I love how he created that book.

How do  I post my photos here now.  I have some inform the past., I joined in 2015.   I tried  to post photos  several times last spring.

 I have asked friends on this site, & have tried different ways, they say they don't know either.

If you think they may be on IUOMA, go to the 'Mail Artists Profiles' tab at the top of this page, choose 'Overview All Members' then 'Advanced Search' and select Romania. There are 33 on the list to choose from.

Sorry to say goodbye to Dorian. I had not been intouch recently but we did exchanged work frequently in thr past.

The Judiciary of Santa Catarina, with regret, communicates the death of Mr. Dórian Esteves Ribas Marinho, father of Judge Cláudia Ribas Marinho, current holder of the Court of Criminal Executions of the district of Itajaí. The death occurred in Balneário Camboriú. The magistrate's father was a lawyer and was, for many years, president of the OAB Human Rights Commission.

So sad news...

Also I hadn't been in touch recently, but was lucky to receive mail art some years ago. I love his typical style, which you can see here, accompanied by a list he had added, of (a part of) his exhibi....

why does the ampersand(&) appear as & in titles of discussions and messages? thats kinda annoying, this ning thing has too many glitches.

Good question Carl!  It's definitely a coding quirk that shoulda been fixed a long time ago.  Character translation/rendering is not that hard nowadays.  Using a common character as a reserved delimiter or other function should be a thing of the past (waayy past).

Margaret, you send him a rubber stamped image (I usually stamp one on a postcard and write in ball point pen with an arrow pointing at it "for braincell"). Once he has enough he sends out a braincell and every participant gets a copy. You can participate by sending stickers as well - but unlike with rubber stamped images there's a number required for stickers and I forget just what that number is.
