Erni, I hope this isn't rude, but gee, is that a price tag on the noodle necklace Diane sent you? How much was it?

Thanks, KDJ. That's the biggest goal of my life, to become distingwished. But didn't know it until David brought it to our attention.

There is a blog post today on this humble yet revealing card received from David:

Check it out if you're enchanted with David.

I sent out a few cards representing the pagan faction of the Erni Bar Fan Club. I saw a need and your popularity extends to a diverse group of people.I'm not sure any connections were made except by me in my own mind:)

The more of David's work I see, the more I wonder why he gives it away for free It's all amazing and should all be compiled in a coffee table book or something (or maybe he already has?).  Erni, I made the Pagans love Erni Fan Club mail-i sent it to Grigori Antonin

Some of my very favorite Stafford originals (Besides my Beautiful Nancy Drew cover he sent me which is proving tricky to find) are his corgi pieces, of course.  I think this one went to Angie:

There is one floating around out there with a hand-painted watercolor corgi that I loved too.  I might be biased...a little...

A piece of the puzzle of one recent day in David's life, from the back of his 1976-presidential-run poster:

That is a great quote, Jen--I just wrote it into my sketchbook. I too make zero effort to wash off ink and paint stains before leaving the house. Always thought it was due to laziness, but now I know better thanks to you.

I love that quote....it deserves to be on a monument somewhere....maybe at the base of a huge bronze thumb covered with pigeon ink....
