What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Oh, I forgot....sad story.  We had a Valentine card show up here - wrong address!  Husband went around to see if anyone knew the child.  The return address was in New York and just said Grammie & Papa.  My neighborhood is small and close knit, so we were hoping to find her.  Didn't happen.  :-(  I just returned from the PO, after marking it, return to sender.  Hope they send it back to the sender.   I tried to find both the grandparents and the child, to no avail.  Felt bad to the little one AND the grandparents that the card didn't reach the child.

Dewi, it feels GREAT!

Please message me your Gran's address and I will make her something special.  I just noted it is in April, so I can do it.  If she is the one that taught you to draw, she deserves a special thanks!

My oldest grandson is spending the night this weekend and he loves making mail art.  I know Katerina remembers him.  Don't know if we will have time to make art though.  We have other fish to fry!

Gee whiz, thank you all.  I promise I am not going anywhere.  I will still be sending & adding the new members of the 365, to my lists.  I can't wait for the paper cutter to show up.  So far - no show today.  :-(  But it's still early.  I have a bunch on blanks I want to cut.

Mim, I have a small one, but this one is a "real paper cutter"!  The typewriter I bought a while back; threw it out.  I've challanged my lil bro to find me a good one and test it out for me.  May take him a while.
