Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Happy Birthday Boo (sorry I didn't notice) - Hope to see you making mailart again soon - it's such a great outlet and much more productive than a tantrum.
Thanks BrisCris - that sounds even worse, just waking up to the damage and not even getting to enjoy watching the vandals at work. i mean they have the cutest bushy tails, but boy they must have some teeth on them I can imagine. Do possums jump then? Sounds like even the chilli isn't going to work on them either. What a nuisance!
I so badly want our birds back, but I can't afford the cost of a new bird feeder every time I put food out for them :-(
Thanks for the birthday wishes, y'all! If I don't get to do some mail art soon, I'm going to have a temper tantrum and hold my breath until I turn blue. I made a wedding gift (two stockings and Christmas tree skirt) and in August we made two trips to Ohio and two to South Carolina, which pretty much filled up the month. Also, I'm either beginning a new book or a new writing project that I'm aiming to syndicate. The latter is far more appealing; but meanwhile my brain's a-bubbling like a witch's cauldron.
Hi Andy - loved your story about the cute littel squirrels - we have the same sort of problems with our ever-so-cute possums!!!!!! Dang blalst them - we now have a denuded orange tree on our back deck - these 'cute' little things only come out at night, so we don't get to see them eating - only see the results. These mammals also eat the chillies off chillie bushes & they are the hottest chillies you can get.- so we all have problems with wildlife!!!!
Congrats Boo & Laura - such dedication to the cause! Rebecca - you'll be there soon too!
In most important business, I want to send Mim's wonderful, treasured, mailart 365 stamp on to another lucky mail artist. Please let me know if you want to have it. I will pick a name out of a hat or somesuch on the September 28th (the day I should finish my mailart 365) and may send it on to you! Message me on IUOMA http://iuoma-network.ning.com/profile/RebeccaGuyver if you are interested in stamping your upcoming 365 mail!
Hey guys, I've had a super busy summer with lots of company and have had to put the mail art on the back burner. Like Boo I have finished my 365 but still have some of it to send out, which is really bad!!! I may have to come back and do 365.2 like Mim to help keep me on track. I see some really fabulous mail art being posted and some new people which is great. I have a pile of mail art to respond to and hope to get back in the swing of things shortly. Hope every one is having a good summer. The trees are already starting to turn here in northern Michigan (US) and the night are cooling off, fall is just around the corner! Missing you guys and Angie congrats on finishing!
Laura (spopod)
Thanks, y'all. I actually finished my 365 back in December but STILL haven't mailed them all yet. I decided to send 365 to Angie in honor of her finishing her 365!
You did it! You did it! Hooray BOO!
