Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

OK here's one to ponder after Christmas turkey - I never quite know how to write mailart365.

As you know, I run my REAL wall, which is always written as 3 words with capital REAL to emphasise that it's REAL and not a virtual wall. REAL post. from REAL people.

But when I write mailart365, I have written it as one word, 2 words and with and without initial capitalisation. What do others do? I don't want to sound like an office manager, so it's not guidelines on how to write, I just wanted to know what others were doing

I have learnt a huge amount about blogging from this. I love the fact that everyone has the badge on their site as the site gets hits from you lot, who in turn get hits back. The community promotes and gets promoted. Awesome.

I'm curious, also, about the South Korean stats. I've never gotten any Mail Art from South Korea.

*blushes* I wasn't gonna include the deep stats, as I am kinda amazed that my posts are popular and I can't imagine why, when we have artists like Keira and Mim on the site! If it's any consolation, the most popular post is actually the one about the project, so that's not really a "proper" post.

Why so many views from South Korea though? Anyone have any ideas?

Mim, I'm really amazed at how it's taken off too. My blog numbers are up and for me, one of the most exciting parts is the sidebar (which I still think is too long, but that's another story for another day) which gets updated so often! I do feel compelled to blog more to try and keep up

Amazing stats considering this started just 23 days ago. Amazing. My own blog numbers are up, too. Amazing.

Oh cool! When I copied the second one, with the circle, the background comes out all black and the lettering looks stitched and the braided circle looks doubly braided.

Does the QR code need to be printed in a particular ink for it to be readable? I've heard of these, but never used one. I copied it and thought about printing it out on stickers. I have a laser printer.
