Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Hey folks, Me and Elena are on holiday as of today and will likely not post until Jan 4th. Chances are you'll be getting some postcards from Romania in the meantime though!

Merry xmas all and see you all on the other side!

Little packet Mim? I'm afraid weather may have slowed it. I have just posted up on my REAL wall the stuff that arrived today and I have another post on the way showing stuff that arrived last week. I don't think your package is among them

I had a rubber stamp made right at the beginning as "mailart365" just for simplicity when typing I use no caps, though in my tags I think I've got Mailart365. Ah, the myriad ways. Shall we standarize? By the way, Andy, did my little packet ever arrive? Did the weather slow down the mail? hmmm.

Medial capitals is the expression I was looking for! Interesting article on wikipedia about CamelCase. Thanks, Andy!

I mean CamelCase.

I never ever click on the links for "You might also like" because it they often are too random. BUT, for MailArt365, it sort of works since it throws up images, which we don't typically see on the homepage.

It doesn't drag down my connection, but I have pretty fast Internet.

CamelCode ... I know I didn't ever know that word, but I'm going to go read more about it now. Makes perfect sense ... hump in the middle.

"you might also like"

Just read this blog from Missive Maven about the "You might also like" feature. She's taken it off her blog. I rather like it (when it works) but what do others think? Should it stay or should it go?

In internet speak that would be CamelCase I beliece. You use it for writing Wiki entries.

Or in Camels Case he probably always writes in CamelCase right...?

I write it MailArt365. I am fond of capitalization in the middle, though I know that isn't fashionable anymore. There's a word for when using capitalization in the middle, but I can't think of it.
