What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Mobile version now enabled as default on the site when you log in on a mobile! Comments work fine. Did any go missing?

Postmuse, I'm a postcrosser, too. My profile name is "ilovemail." And yes I grant permission to link me in the blog post. I haven't yet mailed any MailArt365 pieces to postcrossers. Thanks!

I like the native comments because I can hit the "Subscribe to comments" link on each of my posts and not ever miss another comment. That wasn't happening with Disqus.

I know I sent a non-mailart postcard to Massachusetts from GA at the same time I sent to UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Ireland, Finland, and Illinois, USA. They have all received them but the Massachusetts lady.

In case you're wondering, I'm having a little trouble with displaying any more than 5 of the recent comments at the moment. Hope nobody minds the change back to Blogger native comments

I asked my Spanish teacher this morning if my mail art card had arrived and she said "no, no lo llegue" meaning it had not. I sent it on 10 Jan. and I live only 3 miles from my teacher. hmmm. Meanwhile, yesterday, I got mail from jjalltheway, from Australia, with NO stamp on it. hmmm I'm not wondering if some of my cards arent' arriving at their destination. I know that L-Plate's didn't arrive, either. Boo hoo, I'm sad. My Spanish teacher thought maybe the postal workers like them and kept them. I can't imagine that, can you?

I'll put up a REAL wall showcase of your walls soon - Thanks Postmuse!

I was thinking it would be very cool if all of you could get a REAL wall up, it would be a hell of a sight!

On Postcrossing, I am mcfloozy. None of the mailart cards have gone through postcrossing.

I had a crazy long travel day yesterday but was greeted by a lovely stack of mail, including some fantastic MailArt365 cards!

Paula's fun surfing dudettes postcard is a delightful reminder of summer.

Carroll's (dumpsterdiversanonymous) Lenore Tawney inspired card with lots of writing on the back made me smile big.

Kiera sent me K is for Keaton and I'm still marveling at the patience it takes to create a face with only Ks.

"Bubbles" from Morrissey also has me marveling because it is so dimensional without thickness. Really. This is quite the interactive postcard.

Jennie sent me mappy deliciousness and now I'm wishing I could remember my kanji and hiragana lessons. It was always so relaxing to practice both. I never enjoyed katakana though.

And I'm craving a cup of tea after receiving Patty's "Tea Journey."

Thank you everyone. I'm going to have lots of fun showcasing these on my REAL wall in a few weeks.
