Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

That was McFloozy's "anywhoo," Mim, but it's okay for you to laugh. I'm energized by this project as well. The near-endlessness of it is reassuring. We can freely play because we have all of these days in which to experiment and see what other folks are doing. And right this minute I'm caught up on all of my online postings and have only a few offline postings still to get done. And so nighty-night to one and all.

I love when you say "anywhoo," Boo.  It makes me laugh.

Me too. I have this elaborate system and a database and everything. and I still seem to be kind of mixed up. which is a lot more fun anyway. It is so much fun making, and sending, and receiving this stunning wall of beauty! I figure, in 365, everyone will get something sometime, or several times. I think this whole project is more 'right brain', so the left brain tracking tools just don't want to co-operate.

anywhoo, where's my glue stick.?

Oh Boo, I know what you mean. I sent out to someone and just 3 days later sent out to them again. Not that they won't like getting more mail but I was trying to do a piece to each of our members, oh well, like you say, it'll all sort out in the end. Most of my mail is getting to the recipients so YAY for that. This project is making me feel very energized. I am so in like with it.

I've made these beautiful lists but am totally confused right now about people to whom I've mailed things and those from whom I've received. Never mind. It will all sort itself out.

Tiziana have you been posting your work to the blog?

Hello all, just did a mass mail out to Ria, McFloozy, Mims, Post ( we started a new cookbook for you ) and I think Rani and Lindsay too. Thank you for the postcards!

Sorry I can't post art right now, still trying to find a way to exist in the new internet-verse. Did I ever mention just how much I dislike computers?

No postcrossing for me either, I am a sendsomething / postcardx kind of creature.

And I've got a 100 dollar credit with Google Adsense for advertising ... is anybody interested? Will mail in exchange for art.

Thanks, Andy! Sitting in the middle of a huge snowstorm, so your compliment  really made my day!

that is where most of my mailart goes...

we all love mailart - they do not know - ...

I did however get an e-mail from paulo once (founder/creator) he told me people can complain about your profile & that could cause termination...

i now send mail art in an envelope with a blank card inside when sending mailart...

Usually some crazy ass envelope too...

I also have a flickr set for the "direct exchange" of handmades with postcrossers:
