Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Congrats Camel on your place in the line-up of Skulls. I noticed Noah's United Skull of America on the site side bar. Hadn't seen that site before. I look forward to seeing the images.

I got a Day/Date planner a few years ago and it was quite the revelation ... before I was an electronic organizer but the book helps me see progression which I love. Plus I love writing stuff down!

I think the alphabet challenge is going to be a bigger adventure than I imagined.

Dewi-Go Luddites!! I got a wee pocket calendar on which I have written the # day of the project, like today 22 Jan. is #53 etc. then on that space I write the person I sent that days MA to. This project has me sitting in front of the computer SO much more than I used to, I don't want to use the computer for anything else.

I like what Katerina said  "Ideas really abound working daily on this project!" The more I make, the more ideas I get! Was this your sneaky plan Andy?

There are lots and lots of MA365 folk I haven't sent to yet, but I will. I'm just waiting for the right card to present itself.

I'm still going to attempt the February alphabet challenge. I have a great card in mind for X, and it is food/beverage related. My food/beverage stash is finally starting to look thinner. At least something is losing weight around here.

Getting close to the end of the second month of mail-art-a-day, and I have yet to make and send to a few of the 365ers here! So, I am planning to delay my plan for the "alphabet" theme for February. I'll keep the mailing list and use it  for March as it will be Greek Alpha-beta to the Greek mail artists. And now for February I shall send some of that "Spread-the-Love"-Valentine mailing that is getting organized over at Postal History Boutique group. Looks like February "theme" for me will be Hearts and all that mushy stuff. Well, I do plan to incorporate some ol' USA postage stamps...some of the"LOVE" stamps that were issued in years gone by. Not a problem as to the 28 that I will send to in February, already a long list is made in my mind! Ideas really abound working daily on this project!

Dewi, that's part of what I love about this group. There is everything. I am tearing up paint samples now and gluing them down. This is a wonderful, non-judgemental, experimental group.

who knows what I'll be tearing up next week?
