What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

I love the synchronicity that happens between us sometimes. Awesome.

Pass me a cigarette

Wow, that it's "not intended to replace your favourite cigarette" is a winner surely.

So, if you feel guilty about smoking, don't smoke less, just buy "Trim" and you can smoke 3 to 4 additional cigarettes daily because they're amazingly good for you.  Brilliant find!!

Here's the slimming cigarettes. Yup, cigarettes are good for you! right.

Ha!  Mim, it's really, REALLY interesting how the perception of smoking has totally changed - we believe a completely different truth to the one people thought was correct up to about 40-50 years ago.  What a coincidence you saw the display today.

I also found this amazing poster, and there's plenty more like them :)

Not sure any of you have noticed but our group is one of the featured groups on IUOMA, when you click on "all groups"

That's rather nice

JJ I love the idea that I had a cunning plan, or for that matter any plan at all! Let the truth be known, I had no idea that anyone would want to make a piece a day for a year much less 45 really damn cool people! I was merely responding to demand when you lot ju ped on board and every day I can't believe my eyes with what I see!

Heck I'm about 10 behind in my own project, and if there ever was a cunning plan, it was to get other people on board who would be able to post every day so I knew what number I was meant to be on (thanks Mim you are actually my barometer, so please don't ever fall behind!)

About cigarettes, L-Plate. I just returned from my visit to the vintage paper shop/antiques mall where I took a photo of a cigarette display, touting it's power to help a person loose weight. A weight loss promo!! Oh my how times have changed.

Thank you Dewi, for the beautiful drawing. I wish I could do that! Why McFloozy? Stay tuned... It's a long, and amusing story.

Thanks Lindsay for the circle card! I think it's so much fun.

Pamela, thanks for the refreshingly colorful postcard. How did you get such a nice sheen on it?

Morrissey, thanks for the wonderful painting! I love the Chinese brush work.

It was a mighty happy day at Box652!
