Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Sorry Andy. I have been putting up pictures and scanned them onto my Lady L blog. I will give you more up to date pictures of my REAL wall the next time I rotate them out. Thank you so much for featuring me on your blog!

I am going to make a second memo board and a display line for mail art. Pretty much take up the entire wall of my craft wall. I love walking my and seeing it. So inspiring! Thank you all for the art. I love it all.

PostMuse, the idea of a journal sounds like the kind of thing that would help me. I am going to buy a new one tonight and start! Since they are all different I am going to make my own photo corners as well as use pre-made ones. That way most things should fit.

Lady L, how could you!? You've been putting them on your REAL wall without sending me pictures. I'm heartbroken.

Elena's wonderful martini arrived today. I didn't go into the city today so Greg picked my mail up for me. When he handed me the stack, I saw the thick one with UK postage and shouted, "My martini!" I think Greg thought I had already had a few martinis since I was seeing one in the stack of mail :-)

At the moment, all the incoming mailart photographed once a month in some sort of "artful" display, and then it is stored in a gift bag ... very unglamorous. I am planning to put it all in a journal, but I haven't worked it out yet. I will use photo corners to keep the mailart in place so I won't have to glue anything down. I would have like to have been putting stuff in a journal as it came in so I could write about the day or impressions or whatever, but I didn't have anything when I got the idea, so I have to let that go.

Hey everyone. I am trying to figure out a way to store the mail art that I have been receiving. I have a french memo board up and I am rotating that out every 2 weeks or so. I was thinking an album of some kind, not sure.
I wanted to ask you all, how do you store your art?

'Have many Ben-the-Bins...maybe for my after the Love-for-February and alphabet-March mail art?  I could try to send out mail art with the bins in early April? We'll see. 'Wish I knew how that guy on YouTube does "Annoying Orange"...that would make these bins come alive ;-)

Enjoy the photos at least!

"...and so DOES the Mayor"

It is the city's responsiblity for garbage collection, and the funds for up-keep on the garbage trucks amount to "zero"...soooooo, no spare parts, no truckie works...no garbage is being collected! and again, once a week ...maybe? here are the empty ones. They are singing a Mikis Theodorakis song:

"Eimaste duo, eimaste treis...eimaste xiliadekatreis!"

"We ae two...we are three....we are ...thousands!"

This combo will be in a group exhibit in Athens next month. The theme is cartoon work that speaks about "The Crisis" (economic, political...THE crisis!). I did the photomontage and added the caption:

"Aw, come on, you guys, don't cry...don't complain...I have a headache" (and so the the Mayor)"

Hi folks - it's just occured to me, that if you are uploading your 365 pics directly to blogger you will find that all your pics are stored in one convenient folder in picasa.

Blogger uses Picasa to store photos in the background, so when you log into picassa you'll find that you have a folder called mailart365 probably. As I upload mine from Flickr, my own photos aren't in there, but the ones I upload for Katerina are at http://picasaweb.google.com/andytgeezer/Mailart365#

Just another way to view your 365s!
