Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

HUGE NEWS!

I've been working very closely with the graphic novel buyer at Westminster Libraries on a show and the call will be announced shortly.

A bit of insider news for my 365 people though - the show will be on at 2 libraries in London, Pimlico and Westminster reference, possibly with your pieces on display for 2 weeks, and the theme will be graphic narrative.

Full call details will follow shortly, but in the meantime, just check out e cheeky line that says "mailart call to follow" in this blog http://wcclibraries.wordpress.com/2011/01/13/a-room-with-a-private-...

I'd really appreciate if you could all flood the blog with comments, as they are taking a huge risk teaming up with my REAL wall, and I've reassured them that a social media/mailart show will work!

Hey folks, I asked my friend Jay to look into the thumbnails display thing. It's really difficult to do, so this may take some time. However, in the meantime, we have possibly an improved thumbnail gallery below the posts. Check it out at http://playgroundforjay.blogspot.com/

I'm in two minds about this. I think that the thumbnails as they are are better as they draw you in and it's fun to play "guess the artist" - What do you all think?

Haha! No apology needed, sounds like you had great fun! I tried snowboarding for the first time this winter in Romania and it kicked my butt too. Ouch.

We did have a damn good time on a sledge though, until we hit a HUGE rock, which cracked our sledge in half and gave Elena the mother of all bruises. Ouch again

I am glad to hear people are receiving my cards! I apologize for not posting for a few days. I took a few days plan and recover from the weekend. Snowboarding kicked my butt, he he. Back at full speed tomorrow!
