Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

We have The Rabbi's Cat, bought it in Paris at a wonderful Bande Dessine, BD, store. Graphic Novels are sooo big in France and Belgium.

A Nausica theme?!?!?

PostMuse...The Rabbi’s Cat is going to be my next purchase, thanks for the nod. I live 2 blocks away from Dream Heaven Comics ...which for my bank account is not so good.

I left a comment on the wcc blog, and it is awaiting moderation. I have no trouble with moderated blogs ... but it will stunt conversation. Seems that that blog is not really meant to generate conversation, though. Most blogs I read are like that, though. Comments are great, but conversation is meant to happen elsewhere, though elsewhere is not always obvious.

Okay so I wrote a book on the wcc library page! Ha, a little too passionate I think. I am such a geek for this stuff though!

Oh, I LOVE Miazaki. Maybe we can do some Graphic Novel theme in March. Nausica is wonderful!

I really hope they decide to do a mail art call for "Extreamly Graphic" . I was fortunate enough to take a college course at St.Cloud State entitled Comic Book Cinema and was hooked on the graphic novel ever since! Our prof had us read Watchmen, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (manga series) Hayao Miyazaki (my cinematic hero!) , Road to Perdition and several others! For sure leaving a comment!

Really weird - I can't see the comments at all. I know that you left one. I presume that they have comment moderation turned on. Now there's a surefire way to kill a blog discussion! Looks like I will be hosting this on my REAL wall if that is the case... ;-)
