Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Strangely, despite the requests I've been getting, we are still 1 short of 50 writers. The last 3 people I added (prior to the postcrossing blog appearance) didn't go on to post on the blog despite my follow up emails, so we're still waiting for number 50.

I reckon we'll break the half-century today though....

A husband and wife were having dinner at a very fine restaurant when this absolutely stunning young woman comes over to their table, gives the husband a big passionate kiss, then says she'll see him later and walks away. The wife glares at her husband and says, "Who was that!?"
"Oh," replies the husband, "she's my mistress."
"Well, that's the last straw," says the wife. "I've had enough. I want a divorce!"
"I can understand that, "replies her husband, "but remember, if we get a divorce it will mean no more shopping trips to Paris , no more wintering in Barbados, no more summers in Tuscany , no more Jaguar in the garage and no more yacht club. But the decision is yours."
Just then, a mutual friend enters the restaurant with a gorgeous babe on his arm.
"Who's that woman with Alex?” asks the wife.
"That's his mistress," says her husband.
"Ours is prettier," she replies.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

Yeah it's great isn't it! The inbox has gone wild, but luckily not as wild as I thought it would, so we are not going to hit 100 just yet. I'm pretty pleased with that as I wouldn't want to expand so fast that we lost the warm and fuzzy vibes! Only 5 new signups today, so we can easily welcome them into the fold

That is a wonderful write-up on Postcrossing. Can it be possible that we'll have 100 members? Those of us who started on 1 Dec. might have to just keep going to stay with the late-joiners, right?

Glad you like the piece, McFloozy!

I'm really pumped about postcrossing featuring us. I'm thinking I should change my profile to mention our site and encourage people to participate or at least expand their willingness to get made-by-hand-and-brain art.

Manga month is a GO! This will be interesting. And I love all of the alphabet-ers... its fun to see everyones indivdual take on the alphabet.
