What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Hi, Clouded! I grew up on one of the Lake Erie islands, so I know all about that lake-effect snow. But we've had almost as much here in Louisville this winter. Which is to say TOO MUCH.

Yup, I live in a suburb of Akron, so we're getting all that lake-effect snow. Bleh, it can't be summer soon enough!

Had a good laugh on your parts today .... the mailperson took about five minutes to slip all the Mail Art thru the mail slot today. Thank you all!

PS Hello Clouded, once you get motoring, keep a reserve fun so when creativity catches you, you get ahead! My bench is about a month deep right now but there are themes to keep catching up on ;-)

Welcome Clouded!

I lived in Ohio as a youth, near Cleveland. Bet there is a lot of snow there now!

Join in the fun on our Crazy Train!

Juli's "Reference" came yesterday and, man, it is full of news that makes me want to pack up and move to Wyoming! Thank you, Juli!

Hi guys, I'm just starting...still gotta figure this all out. (Especially how I'm going to motivate myself to draw even more everyday!)

I go by Clouded, and I'm from Ohio. I make one painting project a week for an AP class, so I might show some of those on here after the class is over. I like to do a lot of stuff, but mostly anything related to nature or outdoors is my thing. I like eating very health-ful-ly, and knitting when I make the time. I don't have a favorite animals, but I love drawing birds or bats best. Pretty much any other hobbies I only like to do sometimes, like watching movies, videogames, reading, etc. I look forward to getting to see your works!

Naomi - Thanks for the Strawberry Fields nevermore. I am so worried about our bees, and roundup, and Monsanto.

Pierpaolo - Thanks for the card. The Worldwide Convention of Invisible Art Resources must be quite a lively gathering!

Happy Day!

Thank you Laura for the wonderful tangle! I want to keep playing with this tangle-palooza!

Paula, what a lovely Room with a View. Your magic touch is so much fun.

Thanks!
