What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

i love mine from Prosthet...

In fact - it is one of only 3 pieces that hangs on my wall so far - the rest get stored in a binder...

I personally think it is nice to have another darker artist...

I think I made a new friend for sure

:-)

Little numbers update (long time no numbers) - we are on 59 members and I think we cover 4 continents, as we had Amo join us today from Shanghai! In total since the start we've had over 62,000 hits and this month since the Postcrossing blog appearance we've easily gone over 1000 hits a day.

If we're shouting out series that blow us away, I just want to say, I am rooting on Prosthet at the moment. Wow. I had no idea that gravestones could be quite so compelling. Amazing.

I usually make more than one a day, also. Last Sunday, I went loca and made 8 cards! But that was using the process that was sort of assembly line. I posted the process on my blogger blog.  There've been a few days where I made only one, like when I was in New Orleans on holiday.   What I do find is that I'm constantly looking around me for ideas, more than I did before starting the 365 project.

How many of you feel compelled to make more than a piece a day. I think I average 3, and would never have believed it if you'd told me that in the beginning of this. Now, if I could string together days of eating right, as well as I do my digital art, I'd be skinny as a rail by the end of the year! Do you find that commitment to this project has helped you commit to things in other areas of your life? I have found this to be true with me.
