What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Oh Paula, you are amazingly productive. Aren't you just so happy with yourself. No, seriously, this is great. And thanks for my packet.

Andy and qualms if I sell this month's alphabet work?
It is going down as a quick fundraiser for a friend's medical bills.
I know it goes beyond the spirit of the group.

I love the idea of a gold badge for 365 in a year. Heck a platinum one for Paula probably I'd imagine given that she'll have completed 365 pieces in about 3 months at the rate she's going!

Then a silver or black one for anyone who limps in with 365 pieces in more than a year.

And fear not, I'm not wrapping the project up after 365 days - it's way too much fun!

Hope you are not planning on stopping, you could start on year two. Maybe your ladies can travel to Rome?

Andy, what about making life simpler and doing a gold badge for people who complete 365 in a year; a silver badge for those who complete 182.5 in a year; and a green badge for those who completed fewer than 182 but participated? That way the project officially concludes at 365 days (except for people who started on days other than December 1); and we can begin another 365 if so desired. I guess the decision rests on whether your focus is making 365 cards or your focus is on doing it in a year...

I was thinking - Gold badge for anyone who completes 365 in a year, silver for anyone who makes 365 pieces in under 1 and a half years, bronze for those who limp in at 2 years. Like me.
