Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

My REAL wall. as of today. Going to refresh it with the 'objects-in-waiting' so I'll have a different real WALL tomorrow. Virtual living is loveliness. Thanks to all of you who sent things. Some are on this episode. Some in the queue. I need a bigger wall... :-)

Tomorrow, March 10, is day "100" from December 1, 2010!

My No.100 was in the mail early, and I hope it arrived.

It will be posted tomorrow...a "special editon" to the Greek alphabet!

I work "in advance" and in "batches". Usually send in advance, because

for many I like the recipient to have it on their "day", and sometimes before.

Starting to plan a mailing list for  the month of April and will also send

ahead of the Spring and Easter holidays, not too many postal pick up and deliveries during those days, weeks!

Prosthet, I know how you feel about Trying to keep up. I am currently
on a mad dash to get ahead by a month because April has the potential to be crazy with the whiff of a spring election in the air.
Ps welcome back Kiera, I have art on it's way to your project too.

Love what you're doing, Mim. Also, tonight I posted on my blog mail art I received from Kim Jungyoun, Martha Miller (another very cool head), S. A. Walker, Postmistress, and dosankodebbie, plus an ATC from Ian. http://itsonlyabook.blogspot.com

Rules. Hmmm. I always maintain that I'd like to get 365 done in a year. That was my stated aim, and anyone who wanted to come along for the ride was welcome. Don't like rules really, especially not where mailart is concerned!

I just wanted to get that off my chest.

This is our Mail Art 365. There are no rules but the rules we make for ourselves. This is Your Mail Art 365. You make your own rules. There's no one grading us, or chastising us, or following up on us, we're free to set our own pace. It's Mail Art. For me, I find that making it a daily practice of making this piece of Mail Art is working. If it's not working for you, find another way to do it. Make a piece of mail art once a week. Send them out whenever you want to. Post them whenever you can. This is not meant to be burdensome. Be kind to yourself, lift the pressure, have fun with Mail Art.
