Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Hello all, was at Andy and Elena's wedding and it was lovely. They had a sunny day for the festivities. Photos when I return home. On to Istanbul tomorrow.

I am I the last mail art person to know that the post office carries pre stamped post card? I went to a different post office than normal and they had them on display. I think they were 31¢ they would be great for travel and sketching on the back.

Congratulations Andy and Elena on your Wedding Day!

Wishes from Greece for a life together: "γεμάτα αγάπη"= full of LOVE!

This was made for today, and sent, and received in time for the ceremony.

All the best to the "N" Newlywed coouple!

I leave on a trip tomorrow morning, so the remaining 12 Greek mail art letter-cards will be posted sometime in April at blogger, but they are made and sent.

'Be back soon!

Hey all, despite the rain pouring down, I'm off for 4 days of camping, or at this rate maybe cheap hoteling in the Warrumbungles National park. I'm currently 4 days behind and hoping that some time away might get me caught up. It could easily get me four more days behind. This will be an interesting experiment, giving me an idea of how to create on the go and how successful I'll be at doing it on our 6 week journey home from Australia to Oregon that is coming up soon in May and June.

What I really wanted to share was this project

http://www.humanclock.com/poboxclock.php

Please have a look. For those of you familiar with the Human Clock, the same guy is making a mail clock and needs a piece of mail for every minute of the day. I'm sadly surprised how long it is taking him to get the postcards. Seems like a project this group could seriously help out with.

Cheers, see you all in a few days!

Thank you for the recent arrivals at Box652:

Sue Bowen - I am relieved that sunshine is on its way, because I NEED IT!

Crisispanty - Thanks for the fun and colorful collage.

JJ - I love the flying Chinaman. I will find mine. There must be a PO box we can mail to while you are on the road.

Ria - Lovely flowers - a breath of spring

I am so tired of snow. More flakes early this week. Hopefully, this batch of spring-art will bring on the new season.

Hanging in there,

Sue (aka McFloozy)

Mim is traveling, but just have to send a big thank you to her. I am honored to get her No.100! Wonderful "vintage" minimal!
