Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Paula,

The book you sent me was waiting patiently, in my P.O.Box, for my return.  I love it and it's going to be very useful and fun!  Thank you again for your generousity.

I received a card from Box 652 but I can't find her on the IUOMA.  Thank you for the card and if you are on hte list, would you send me a friend request?  I loved the card and the message.

Why is it that sometimes everything hits at once? Boo, my heart goes out to you. I lost two brothers in one week in 2009, & it was the same week as the big ice storm here in Kentucky. I was stuck in my house with no electricity for 7 days, and was grieving for my brothers while waiting for the ice to clear so we could have their funerals. I know what you mean about isolation. So you're definitely in my thoughts today!

I left out that Monday was the anniversary of my late husband's death, that I took the little dog to the chihuahua on Tuesday and she's been on painkillers ever since due to a kneecap that keeps popping out of joint. On painkillers, she enjoys looking at grass and things outside but doesn't know why she's there. However, there's a chance Michael can come home tomorrow from hosp. Depends on whether the fever and odd blood counts straighten out overnight. And thanks to each of you for your good wishes. When disaster piles on disaster, isolation is a real problem. But it will be better soon. Except the little dog. Another week of being stoned.

Boo ... rough week must have been in the cards ... I was glad to see Friday this week. Hope the weekend brings some calm and next week the healing.
