Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

There's a tornado siren right across the road from my house, Andy. When it goes off . . . duck!

Glad to hear from Paula and also Gabby, really a series of severe weather for you people! Hope thinkgs settle into a sunny Spring for you soon. Tornadoes and those sirens were reasons  I left Chicagoland. Here in Greece...no sirens or warnings for earthquakes. AACK!

However, a Greek scientist once said in his lecture: if you want to live in a place where there are no earthquakes, tsunami, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods,etc....go to the moon. (Of course, where NOTHING moves or changes, there is NOTHING)

I hear ya Gabby, anytime severe weather is a potential in MN the sirens go off, and when you live right next to a school or any place that has the warning siren it scares the livin' day lights out of ya! But we have nothing on the tornado ally folks, best wishes Paula clean up after severe weather is NO fun!

Crikey! Tornado Alley sounds like a helluva place to live - would make a great address though...

Glad to hear from you and thanks for checking in Paula. You actually have tornado warnings there Gabby? Flippin eck, sounds like World War 2 in London!

Good grief, Gabby!  Your mom must worry about you!  When my son lived in IL, MO & then OH, I used to worry all the time about the weather.  It's so pretty in those places though and I have considered moving there myself.

A lovely card from Paula today.  It's now up on my IUOMA page-blog.  Thank you, Paula.  I love it!.  It came at a good time.  My allergies have been kicking my butt all day!  Even one of my cats has been sneezing.  I think spring has arrived....
