there are so much places in China to make the chop, seems everyone have one before, use as signature, the symbol of an individual. they carve on the stone or jade.

Super Hero--I was trying to comment on your other page (that link below) but I couldn't seem to...I read your idea behind this project and I think it is so interesting

-- it will be interesting to see how the various plates arrive and in what condition. If you don't get enough rsvp's I sure as hell would like to get another one.

Frieder Speck was nice enough to take the time to photograph the tools for making your own chop, but i fear detail work. i said i like my art big & messy! ;-)
