Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Went to my post office branch this afternoon (not the one straight up my street, which is the next postal code over and where they know me as Ms Mim) and the clerks were sooo friendly. Loved the 3 pieces of mail art I sent out, helped me with some returned mail. But they couldn't help me with where the 2nd packet to Andy and Elena got lost. Somehow, those little packets just do not seem to get through. Maybe next time I'll send them in a BIG box. I'm being inspired to change my real wall. I have to stay home and spend a day scanning all the lovely mail I've received. Thanks y'all. Love everything. Scanning soon.

At the post office my husband goes to it is the same 3 or 4 workers, so when you go in as often as he does or Postmuse you get to know them. But it is still a mystery as to why some mail ends up in a black hole.

Poison, it is good to be you!!

I'm not sure if it's totally different in the states, but I never see my postal workers really. I can't say I even know what my postman looks like. The Post Office just isn't a place I really chat to the postal workers, but I would love to. Maybe they could explain what happened to those rubber stamps Mim sent me

I find a little bit of sweetness sometimes goes along way with people, especially when they feel under appreciated.
