Sooooo, I was saying how I like Mim's "bubbles" in her mail art for yesterday, and what arrives in my mail box today! Wow! "Coincidence!

But that's not all, she sent me her October 11 card, #315 which is the 50-more-to-go mail art piece for 365! AND, coincidently, I sent Mim, my #315: 50-more-to-go-card, too. And we didn't know we were doing that!

I am finding part of my log jam is scanning and record keeping. So, I am officially releasing myself from that obligation!

Whew!!

So, you may not see each piece, but I will continue sequentially numbering (with my number stamp being my gate keeper), When I get near a scanner, you'll see what I've got.

Funny, how sometimes an extraneous and unnecessary process step just brings progress to a snail (mail's) pace.

I love seeing everybody's work, and all your comments are SO encouraging. It's really wonderful.

Greetings to Dewi...in Kingston with Andy and elena. That's great! Make lots of mail art togeher!

It would be ideal if we could have all made "one-mail-art-per-day" for 365 days, but that was not always possible. But a goal of "365" mail art pieces is still a high accomplishment and who cares how "long" it takes...just stick with it!

I have made "batches", some days making 5 or 10 and then other days, not having the time or means to make. But each mail art piece I made for "365" has a designated date, and some dates have more than one card.

When I reach #365 I am going to be very, very happy: "Mission Accomplished". Will I go "365 and beyond"? Maybe not "officially" continuing on the blog, but I could stop by the group here and post a mail art or two...just to keep kickin'. ;-)

McFloozy that's a genius idea! If we started numbering from 365 and worked down things would be easier. If only I'd thought of that 128 mailart pieces ago... ;-)

I too have slowly opted for 365 pieces and I'll be stoked when I hit 365, even it takes 2 or 3 years. I can't wait! It's like a magical number!

 

Dewi is presently staying with us in Kingston - it's great that the 3 people who are most likely to finish 365 in a year have actually come over to see us! Surely a coincidence right?

I'm with the others who've mentioned keeping on keepin'on. I'll just keep creating when I can and numbering them all!

I had decided at the beginning that I would be too stressed if I were to commit to making something every day, so I silently committed to 365 pieces vs. 365 days. It worked. I'm relatively stress-free and just numbered #212.

Even though I may not appear here much, rest assured I am occasionally lurking and love seeing and reading what everyone is doing!  :)

At the rate I'm going I'll be ecstatic when I hit the magical 365 I can tell you. 

 

I just got a signed copy of Harriet Russell's "Envelopes" today - it's GREAT! I was gonna buy it after Keira and Dewi raved about it and it was on my "to buy" list, but my workmate brought a copy in for me. I'm well happy! :-D

My scanner's out of whack and Michael's printer is out of ink.  Not much help in getting mail art posted or regular business conducted.
