By September 4th the novel was in St. Louis, MO.USA,'hope Keith has sent it on. When? Where? We are waiting :)

When the Novel was mailed out of Troy it had 45 leaves before you get to the writers' index in the back. The picture is on the other page. That blank space above mine and Lynn Jr.'s is Test Tower. Also, I've recounted. it's with the 11th person now. Maybe we will hear from him?

it should be a companion book , Ruud ide love it if we could try and get this published if you have any contacts that might be able to help that would be great. I have tried with some other projects to try and get them published here in the UK and have had no luck so anything you or anyone could do would be great.

All the comments made about the book form a book on its own. Maybe we should publish that too....

iv just done a bit of reading , people i would like to confirm iv got no issue with how long it takes to get from person to person , i trust all of you as artists and creative people , i know that none of you would like to see this project fail so if everyone does there bit and passes it on and keeps us all up to date ill be one happy mail art bunny.

on another note iv been on a bit of a art hiatus for the summer while away from university in the next couple of weeks im back in the studio keep you eyes peeled back for some new work , not nesisarily mail art but i value your opions so ill pop so images of current projects up for your feedback.

hey everyone sorry iv been away for a while i have just moved house , im guessing keith has the novel now could someone update me on how many people have participated so far and how many pages are left , glad everyone is still excited about it

Wilma, please don't be so judgemental! It rarely has anything to do with respect or lack of it that a mail art project slows down at times. In my case, when it came to me, I was sick as the proverbial dog for over 5 weeks and, though I apologized for that in here, I didn't see it as a sign of disrespect to Alex that I was sick! Come on now, my friend - life is life. These projects sometimes take years - it's not my first rodeo and I've learned to respect the ebbs and flows of time as much as anything else involved in a mail art project. There are even times when these things get lost or stolen - I have never seen some things I sent out in a controlled group like this over 8 years ago! In mail art, I actually do believe there is a grace to be had from learning how to be patient and let people, and time, do their part in getting a project completed. (Okay, off my soapbox now!!)
