exchange of art and ideas, languages, etc. i love the idea of sending art into the world, sending to others, and making exchanges to spread good feelings and happiness. i love sending out art with no expectation of return--and the nice surprise when i get something back when i least expect it.

What fun it was to go to your opening last night, Xtina! So cool to see your work up on the wall in a gallery where it belongs, and such meaningful work, too. I love it that you made your offrendas celebrate the lives of the women who dyed in Juarez instead of their deaths. It was also very cool to meet your daughter and some of your other friends, as well as see Susan and Cheryl! I was looking forward to that. Really good atmosphere there and great refreshments! Enjoyed seeing the other work as well.
Thanks for looking at my blog. What an ugly word, blog. Well, after seeing YOUR pictures, too, I miss the days when we had dogs. Your Gigi, Nino and the bed mooch, Fafi? look happy. You have a lot of vivid work up on your website, nice! Scrap Stamps stands out in my mind after looking there this morning. parlez-vous français? je ne parle français mais travail à lui lentement. Be well, cheers from the Dak of Droll.
Hi X!
Nice to hear from you again. I know what you mean about being busy - same goes for me. But I am pulling out of it and trying to spend more time having fun (it's so important)! Heh. And fun means more mail art! Keep an eye on the post box - something from the 4th Dimension may soon be in San Leandro - I miss San Leandro! My Mom grew up there and I still have many relatives there.
since the ambassade is abit under the weather Denis and I thought it would be a good thing to create some kind of group project to get back into the groove...but it would be, as you said, in mid-September...after school started... everyone (including Servane) is either on vacation or super busy with projects...this group project would not necessarily end up in a show...i just thought out loud that i would like it, if one day, all of our stuff does gets together in a show...it's easier and cheaper than we think.... later,
chantal
