BANANAS

AKA Anna Banana Appreciation Band (ABAB)

The theme is Bananas & Anna Banana.  Many of our members are « bananas » themselves, others are »fruity », a few are « nutty », and one is completely « ape ».
If you are none of these, don’t worry we can help you with specially designed projects and exams for your progress to the banana status you deserve.
We will also explore the many works of Anna Banana as we give appreciation for involvement in Mail Art & "Art".
PS I you are « crackers » or « loony », this group may not be for you.
Also: see link and fill in the form and return it to Anna Banana!

You could still print the forms, fill them in and return them to Anna Banana. She gave me this last year when I met her in Maastricht at Hedah where Rod Summers was doing an exhibition. She did a performance and I did a performance there. Have some photos too (will look them up. Also Met Her in Hagen (Germany) and San Fransisco (USA)  on other occasions, but that were the 90-ies. Also interesting photos I will have to look up.

Welcome "E", happy to see you could join us.  I'm looking forward in seeing how many scary things you can come up with using a banana!

Dear Banana Band, If you would like an updated nice copy of the Anna Banana Bingo, I can e-mail you a nice copy that folds in two and has all the information on the reverse page.  Just let me know.  Also there are a few changes I got from Anna Banana ... like splitting a banana in 3 the length way.

Apparently it works, basically it’s like pushing a banana through the Mercedes symbol. I’ll have to do some research and get back to you … now where did I park the Mercedes?

I'm glad someone here has good taste in bananas besides me, Sue. And the bathing thing could be fun, though they might clog pores with their strange texture.

Well, who would have thought?  I always looked as bananas as something to eat or draw and I don't like them too ripe.  Guess I will have to try using them some other ways.  Like a painting or writing too, bathing with them, etc.  Thanks, Katerina, for posting Dean's BINGO list.  I feel enlightened - knowing my banana has a second life.

Welcome Prettylily, Nancy, Katerina, & Diane!  You are all way ahead of me with this banana art.

Katerina, I you tubed the song, so I got it straight now.  After all, we are a BAND!

The "G" word should not be used here.  Not for "Group", and surely not for "Goofy"!

No spots for me either.  Way past their prime!

Katerina, I'm trying to guess what tune this is sung to.  The only thing I can think of is the banana boat tune.

Nancy is here to learn, so I think we gave her a good start for the first day.
