This morning, I finished up another batch of ATCs. I happened to have nine scraps of teal colored mulberry bark paper, which I used as a starting point. The photos came from my walks, and I added some detailing made from artist tissue paper.

A few week back I received some GREAT "samples" of new styling by Genevieve..

I love them!  The texture and translucent effect is AWESOME...melted plastic bags with mesh, simply called "milk bags".  Thank you Genevieve for sending me your first tries!  xx

Backs....

Speaking of 3-D ATCs: I received a new set from Amy Irwen in today's mail, and two of them feature buttons.

Thanks Amy & Karen! Funny, I was thinking of doing sets of 3 as it's my favorite number... The ideas are flowing...Onward...!

btw, does anyone ever interpret the term "ATC" not literally in terms of format? That is, I like the idea of a artist's 'trading card' not necessarily being a [literal] card [size, shape etc], but abstracting it, as it were. Eg, I'm a metalsmith who makes a lot of books and various assemblages. I love making & working w/ objects, things... I mean, I know I can send any mail art I like to anyone, of course, I just like the idea of playing with the idea of ATCs...

Hi Cleo, welcome!  Amy gave you sound advice so I don't really have anything to add.  Please don't be concerned about the group being so large.  Just look at it as more people you can choose to trade with!  Have fun!
