Hey Stephanie, variations on a theme are good too . . . the idea of ATC "buddy jams" is to create a set, similar to each other, so each artist shares a common [for lack of a better word] end product. That does not mean they have to be [exactly] the same, just, hopefully, of the same ilk . . . but yes, you are the creator and you have the choice of destiny — use your powers wisely, but allow some whimsy to have a hand in your oeuvre.

The term the buddy jammers use is "similar"....it's hard to make them identical otherwise I consider them collaborations not jams...

To each their own however. Its between thei 2 or 3 person group how they want to approach it...
