Event Description

To participate in this annual event, which is a fundraiser for the gallery, I had to enter a lottery. I was lucky enough to win a spot this year and that means I can participate every year until and if I want to stop. Woohoo! The reason I am happy is that I love an art challenge and one of my favorite challenges is to make art inside of a 3 dimensional space, like a box. Since all of the artists have to use the same two boxes (two sizes were available), I also love seeing all of the different ways they realize this challenge.

I like this gallery and visiting it is like a vacation since it's about an hour from home in a very beautiful place… just a mile from Stinson Beach and the Point Reyes Lighthouse, two of my favorite places on earth.
