Mail Art Call / Convocatoria de arte correo / REVOLVER

¡Hola! Somos un grupo de estudiantes de Bellas Artes de la ciudad de Rosario, provincia de Santa Fe, Argentina e invitamos a TODO EL MUNDO a participar de nuestra primera experiencia de arte correo. Nuestro objetivo es promover esta práctica artística entre los estudiantes de arte de la UNR (Universidad nacional de Rosario) e incluirla dentro de las posibilidades de su producción. Si bien éste es el eje central de la convocatoria, proponemos que su alcance se extienda más allá de la Universidad, sumando participantes de diversas nacionalidades, y así poder mostrar el carácter internacionalista del arte correo.

Hello! We are a group of students in the School of Arts in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, and we are inviting EVERYBODY to take part in our first experience in mail art. Our aim is to promote this artistic practice among our peers as far as possible within Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Although we intend our college to be the main scenario, we also want participants from all over the world as to show the international character of mail art.

REVOLVER

Open to everybody

Theme: REVOLVER .We are organizing an art show and the main topic is "mixing", "revolver/gun". In spanish the word REVOLVER has different meanings.

Size: 21x15 cm

Technique: Free

Deadline: Sept 9th, 2014

 Each work must enclose the following author's information: name, surname, age, and e-mail address.

No jury, no feedback, non-profit.

Works are going to be included in an art book to be exhibited at Facultad de Humanidades y Artes de la ciudad de Rosario (State Arts College in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina). In addition, the copies of originals are going to be displayed in a cordel-literature fashion in the installation, and they are going to be posted on-line, as well.
