Hi there Vizma! Have just called to ask how your training for the 2012 Olympics is going, and if you've finally decided on which event(s) you'll be competing in? Give me a call back some time?

Besest, Val

(This message wasn't left on Vizma's answeing machine)

Is it 2012 already?? Oh my, I haven't even started training yet!! Thanks for the reminder...on my way now down the driveway to the letterbox to start my official fitness training. Just have to find the car keys and I'll be on my way.

Cheers Val.

Viz.

When are you back home?

Ok, so we have to get you fit for London 2012, and the Australian Olympic Committee (Sigean Branch) has appointed me as your coach.

This is you schedule for the next 3 weeks:

-- at 6 pm you will start running around the centre of Sigean.

-- a lap will take you about 10 minutes

-- every time you pass the Sigean/Waitipinga Training HQ (formerly the 'La Rotonde Bar & Bistro') you will stop briefly to buy your coach a beer

-- this continues for a couple of hours or so (you run, the coach drinks)

-- when you have finished about a dozen laps, you can have a drink too -- of water;

Then it will be time for you to do some weight training, but your coach is still working on your schedule for this.

Roll on them thar Games!

Val

Fun and Games? Hmpph..All this just to win a plastic gold medal? I'm over it.

You're sacked and I quit.

How about we just meet at the pub for large amounts of champagne and watch it all on telly?

Good to have you back, Vally Wally!

Bonjour again! Oh well, I'll just have to cancel your medal ceremony with the Queen (of Portel-les-Corbiéres). Yes, we can go champagne training together. If you aren't super fit, then i guess I'll just have to do the honours with the cork.

But I'm not giving up completely on the Olympics...would you like to suggest some suitable events for Vear, Varac, Vikolaas, et al, (Al can come too) so that we can work out a training schedule for them?

This afternoon is 'le Crunch': France vs England at rugby. My prediction is that France will win by about 12 points.

And now, to work, well, what passes for it around here;

Vunder Val

Look! This was born yesterday! Now this was hard work!! The mumwas having REAL problems getting this one out, very big shoulders, so I grabbed the feet and pulled and pulled every time she had a contraction, to no avail. I called my sis and she came to the rescue, one hoof each and we pulled and pulled until he finally plopped out!

Such a cutey with a little white patch on his forehead!!

A quick clean-up from mum and then a first attempt at standing!!!

A little bit wobbly!

And VOILA!!! Truly amazing! 15 minutes after he was born, he was up on all fours!

Awwwww...I love babies!!!! He is absolutely adorable, I think I'm in LOVE <3

Do? you and your Sis have little white spots on your foreheads too, Viz? And/or are you a little bit wobbly too?

I thought that you were in love with me, Varac. Oh well, rejected in affairs of the heart yet again...

Val

Wotcha think, Viz? This one or the one with the coral flower? I prefer the vorally one. Val

Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh noooooooooo!..

not after those adorable photos of little-white-patch-on-the-forehead baby,(thank you Vizma...cute!)

must we view THIS? Pleazzzzzeee, Val...get the beret!

Thank you , before I need "heart" services...a blood pressure check NOW! AACK!

of course, on second glance...it does compliment your eyebrows ...

They're not eyebrows, they're tame caterpillars.
