Sprung from the head of Zeus! Yet again. Another sterling wunderwerk from Skybridge Studios arrived yesterday. Dressed in an understated gold lame envelope festooned with vintage southwestern stamps, this four panel folding book has kind of a hayseed feeling about it. For one, SB has been pushing the envelope of their printer again: all of the text is printed on thin wafers of wood. I’m guessing mahoghany veneer but I could be dead wrong. Anyhow this rusticity is lightly echoed in the nine squirrels in various states of disgruntlement all marching toward a better world one hopes. Accompanying them on their path are four quotes from luminaries like Shel Silverstein and Lord Byron. The important thing here is movement. Something has caught fire somewhere and if we can keep it alive despite the gusty electioneering season and the flatulence of talking heads not to mention the 20 million insignificances a digital life presents us with daily, each on its shimmering plate....well, this sentence started out so long ago I’m not sure I was going with it...but you get the import. Keep moving, keep makin’ tracks. Thank you, Lisa.

Yes, Cheryl. I called in a herd of wildebeest for a quick consult. Unlike many, we use every part of the wildebeest. In this instance, their uncanny sense of drama and rhetorical flourish.
