I once received a beautiful and elaborate mail art box with a folding paper fan. All made by hand. It was sent to me anonymously, with no return address. So that was mysterious and frustrating.
I recieved a dead bat in an envelope back in the early 80's, I think it came from AMK/ab. About a week later I recieved a postcard with dead flies taped onto it which said,' for the bat'. Then there's the rooster that Zona (Ben Banville) and Mark Bloch sent to Dr. Al Ackerman, I showed Zona how to skin the rooster.
It reminds me of when I was younger. When I was 10 years, in summer camp, I caught some scorpions and I had sent two for my parents in an envelope. They were alive. Unfortunately, they were crushed at the obliteration of the stamp.
My parents knew, I had warned by telephone.
What? It's all strange.
