REAL post on REAL walls

Inspired by my REAL wall, this group is dedicated to the art of displaying your mailart on walls.

If you've  received mailart and have stuck it on a wall, then add your picture of your wall here.

Descriptions and references to the artists of course of course would be appreciated.

In the context of My Real Wall, how is a wall defined? Can I assume any vertical surface will do? I hope so because I am considering displaying mail art on my front door over the mail box. As it is a…Continue

Grandgirl came over today and offered to finish putting things on the wall I was re-doing. She picked out the work, including non-mail art (a couple little pieces of mine and a large postcard of her father's work) and I can't tell you all the people because she move so fast, but Nadine, CoCo, Jessica, Barbara, Heidi, Shmuel, I don't know who else. I love it. Also, the three other spaces where I put things up.

I removed everything from the wall in front of my studio table. It was like excavating an archeological dig. I’ve got two new things up and having fun deciding how the wall will look. Photos soon.

By the way, does anybody know the sender of the sixth card from the right, the one with a fairy riding a snail?  It has no return address or signature. Unfortunately, as I like it very much and would like to respond

Andy! Nice to hear from you.
Yes, this group is a super idea. Here is my new display which has been building up and now it will be taken down to make room for the next batch of Mail Art.

It's so wonderful to see lots of people putting mailart on walls! I can't tell you how happy this makes me :-)

Mail Art Martha, I love the way that looks!  I'm moving soon and I want to hang the mail art I received on a wall in my new craft room.  I've been thinking up ideas of how I want to go about it.  I love the line with tiny clothes pins.

I love your new (clothesline-like?) WG (DRWG - dining room wall gallery), Mail Art Martha!

And Mim's thumbs up, too (I think there is need for an analogue version to hang at the wall, too :-) )
