THIS DISCUSSION GROUP IS STARTING TO WIND DOWN...

The Rebel ATCers have had an awesome 1st round of Buddy Jams; be it 2 person, 3 person or 4. We have gotten some wonderful results and would love for more members to participate. Please take a look at what has already been posted on the Rebel ATC page.

Everyone has decided that we would like to keep better track of the Jams progress, and to do this we started this discussion group. Also we can have all participants in one general location, so there will be no need for scrolling through lots of posts.

I am going to send a "group" message to all our members. If, in turn, the members could forward that message through their friends' list. That way, we can invite non-members as well. The only drawback to non-members participating is that they personally will not be able to share their posts unless they become a member.  :-/

A wonderful multiple jam endeavor started by Fleur Helsingor

William M. was kind enough to put this list together...here are the current participants:

PLEASE GO TO THE DISCUSSION SET UP BY WILLIAM IN THIS GROUP TO VIEW THE CURRENT JAMMERS LIST. YOU CAN STILL POST YOUR WORK IN THIS DISCUSSION...THANK EVERYONE...KEEP HAVING FUN!

Those are so beautiful, Jade! I would be happy to receive any of these.

The lettering is a great addition, Jade!

wow, those came out great! i'm happy with any of them.

Beautiful!

Hi Folks, I need to move to the "not jamming" list for awhile. I'm just so far behind that it feels unfair to people sending me stuff. Also I'm wanting to put in time on a workshop I just took with Jane Davies, monoprint (Gelli-plate) and collage, and so want to put in art time on my own work. I will of course still send out random ATCs or do single ATC trades, but the jams especially have me feeling incomplete, which is something I generally try to avoid in my life!

When time clears (which I' making an attempt to do) I will probably "re-enlist"! It's been great fun!

I've just lately been looking at Jane Davies work. There is one painting, especially, that speaks to me, Red Splash 1.

WOW oh Wow!  Thanks for introducing me to Jane Davies who I had never heard of before. And so I had to look her up when you made mention of her. I love the art she makes!

I love Jane Davies art! I took two of her workshops two years in a row at Art & Soul in Portland, OR and I highly recommend taking her class if you ever get the chance.

boo Jan....but I will update....I know the feeling....

Jan, I'm sorry to see you leave the jammers! But I understand wanting to focus on your own work. I get so involved in swaps that I don't have time to do personal work. I need to do more of that myself. I have taken Jane's workshop at Art & Soul two years in a row. I loved her classes. The Gelli-plate and collage one sounds perfect, as those are two of my favorite art forms. Have fun!

Thanks for your words, Terry. Yes, you know how it is when you come home from a workshop like those and want to throw yourself into all that is freshly percolating. And....mailart is such a fantastic vehicle to keep the juice flowing! I will still be sending out mail while I explore what wants to come into form in my art these days!

Here's a completed duo jam that Jade Hutchinson started and I've completed. More beauty!
