Mail Art on a rainy Thursday...(still raining) from Marcela, Limongelli and Maurizio , Svenja Wahl, and Karen Champlin

Wonderful mail art arrived today, bringing cheer on yet another dull grey rainy day.

PAZ - Peace and smile! An envelope full of envelopes from Argentina!

Marcel Peral sends SandPo! A beautiful landscape of greys and rich textural blacks (that is sandpaper!) and soft white "waters" in the distance. The grey is textured with imprints from nails!

A fun envelope arrived from Italy, sent by Pierpaolo Limongelli and inside were two mail art pieces.

One on canvass fabric, done "with Maurizio Foulin"

and the flip side with Jackson Pollock "splashes" (a Cheryl Penn? recycled?) and Marilyn Monroe "Remembering Marilyn".

Then a second card was enclosed...definitely made by Mim Scalin, but "recycled" by Pierpaolo, humorously adding Marilyn again to the composition!

So much "fun"...and I now have # 21 A of Mim's "365" series!!! Whahooo!

And this lovely "portrait" from Svenja Wahl was also in the mail box! What a beauty!

A brilliant RED marked card from Karen arrived today, too. Stamped with her "zebra" lines and an under layer of text, this becomes an asemic song on a rainy day! Thank you, Karen!

Wow! That is a beauty from Karen! Her new series with the thick, rich paint is very dynamic!

You go right ahead, Cheryl,...anyone...and "hijack" here all the mail art you received from these super  mail artists. It is so good to see what is out there!
