Bonsoir! I got your banana sticker card -- for which mucha gracias.

If it stops raining (fat chance!) I'll make my way to the post office tomorrow and send tou something back, colplete with stickers from today's market.

If it doesn't stop raining, I might ask Bianca and:or Trouble to take it to the post office. they don't seem to mind getting too wet: I do.

Zalop!

Banana boats arrived and I posted them with comments.  And only 3:30 hours before I turn back into a toad.  Kiss me quick!

Happy you received this one, however that means that the Eiffel tower in a bubble is lost.  Third try lucky?

I believe that you have to eat Oz bananas while standing on your head (or someone else's head). I don't think I've ever had a Greek banana. I like Metaxa though, and could be persuaded to have a glass of ouzo, too. Bestest, Val

Dean has this idea that if you move around Europe then you find different banana stickers. I spent a week or so in the UK and only found 3 -- and then I seem to have managed to mislay them. Ive written to my sister in Oztrlayia and asked her to collect them from me. Are bananas from Down Under the same shape as those in Europe?

Have a suitably scary Halloween. Val

Bonjour! We have probably had more rain in the last 24 hours than we have had in the last 24 weeks, and it is still pouring down. The market was cancelled this morning, the cats insist on running in and out and then expecting me to dry them, I won't be able to cycle off-road for ages until it all dries out again, the post box isn't watertight and things got a bit wet this morning, and the roof leaks in a couple of places.

But Slide Art continues a pace.

Hope you are well;

Bon...and dry... weekend, Bestest, Val

Bonjour, I hope thta you are well. It hadn't rained here for about 2 months, but started to do so heavily last night and isn't expected to stop for the next 2 days: the cats and I will stay in. Three things. Uno, Dean, Angie and Mim all like the book, and so we must share their gratitude. Zwei, I'm about to send out some nonsense, and will defriend you temporarily. Please will you re-friend me? Drie, look at the debate on the Mail Art project Group page for some more nonsense about free art. Au revoir, Val

Oh I appreciate the recent Greek stamps you know. The classical ones with some folkloric dancers are no interesting anymore, neither to Val! But the new ones with some mythological images are really fascinating. Yet do please know that I do not collect them, so please send them on your mailart sendings only. And Katerina, I do not send any mailart by airmail, why, a postman reminded me all post is carried by air, at least to European countries and the US (I was in a hurry to catch the deadline of a cartoon contest and by air sometimes doubles the cost for a 300-400 gr envelope!). But to China, South American countries, I do usually send by airmail.
