Now that you mention it, Svenja, owls aren't exactly fast most of the time, are they? Don't they just sit there a lot? For all we know he had a two-week layover someplace on the Mediterranean and is soaking in the rays on a beach for the summer. I'm happier that the flashback/fan made it in good time, and extra happy that you like it! They are SO much fun to do--I could do them all day and enjoy every minute. Thank you ~

Just had my daughter's wedding so I've been out of commission (mail art wise). Got to spend time with Ms Alicia my bestest of girl friends. Glad you got the mail.

Thanks, Svenja--It's been on display in my studio for months, and suddenly it screamed USE ME. I love it. I sent you something yesterday and hope it turned out ok as I am a little rusty at mail art these days after working on projects. I'm glad you're still using YOUR profile pic--one of my very favorites here!

Hi Svenja, Cleo here - I'm Claire. You sent me a absolutely beautiful collage a while back, which was the second piece of '21st century mail art' I received - I was very, very delighted, excited and inspired! The response was so hefty a "Thank You!," as it were, because I've been doing naught but web/digital art for over 10 yrs. now, and you were one of those who helped bring 'real world' art back into my life - or rather, Heaven!!! ^_^ And I'm so very pleased that your happy with it!

The pronouncement at the end of the meeting on your envelope cracks me up, Svenja; and then inside you indulge my big passion while including your own (new?) of swimming. Nice combo--you cover so much territory in your inimitable style. Thanks so much ! Soon you will receive m.a. from me again too--I've been thinking of you.
