Dear dears, thank you all for your kind words. Gives me courage to make more of these thingies, so more to expect, hihi.

I use a pen with 'pure liquid ink' (it says on the pen) to draw the pattern and then I fill it with liquid acrylic ink / acrylic artist ink by Daler Rowney. Some colours are pearlescent. Great material to work with. And I try to use as few colours as possible and ideal the colours are not allowed to touch each other.

Diane, you are welcome to use the pattern for a quilt.

it's on watercolor and looks to be gel pens and markers, but suus needs to enlighten us. the other piece of hers blogged is outrageous==must have taken hours to make the grid--similar to Steph Dodson's
