Vizma has such an impressive collection of stamps, they make for great envelopes. I could immediately tell this one was from her. The red bag? The ROOT stamp? Maybe... Inside, I could have a closer look at the famous octopus (NOT a jellyfish) hairpiece she is wearing on her profile picture. It still makes me laugh. It somehow reminds me some of those weird challenges they make models-wannabe go through in those reality TV shows :-)) (NOT that I am ever watching those!..). The card is made with vintage envelopes, some of them year 69, 62, and it bears my two favorite Vizma stamps. Rudolph the octopus slash cow and angry jellyfish. Vizma, you are the queen of stamps, thank you for sending!

Vizma you're on fire! :-))) you can still be an upper twotacle model. If your upper twotacles are spotless, that is.

Thanks DVS, an octopus is quite 'armless really.

It will be prima when I find that rubber stamp, Marie. Aren't we fourtacles? Or have we upper twotacles and lower twotacles? Anyway, I got a huge bruise on one of my lower twotacles on the weekend, so my modelling career is over.

That's not lustig and not prima at all, Vizma :-)))

DVS, because then humans would be twotacles, and that doesn't sound very good.

I really like Vizma's choice of materials here too & how it holds together. If they are only 8 arms, why are they called 10-tacles?

Vizma, you can totally pull it off as a model!! :-o Tyra Banks would be proud of you...

That tracing paper looked quite arty as it is so I wasn't sure where it belonged. Maybe if I had used tracing paper my mod-podged pieces would have arrived unstuck. Good idea. Arigatoooo....

Ha ha! Yeah it IS like those model shows !! Like, model with this snake if you really want to be a model, or hold a tarantula in your hand, etc... no, I don't watch those shows either!!! ;-)

Thanks for the cool blog Marie! The pattern tracing paper was just used to stop the envelope from sticking to the artwork, you can reuse it!
