Thanks for telling, Katerina. I wondered if that was your method--I use the tip of the brush handle sometimes too, but your style with it is much more striking.

Love the purple tones...from Greek Green Grass! It's a fantastic improvement, Bifidus! Thanks for the blog and to Marie and Nancy for the nice comments. I painted with thick acrylic paints on heavy watercolor stock paper and then took the back end of the brush and "etched" the "scribble" strokes while the paint was wet. It gives a "relief" texture for the "grass" ! 

And it was "green", something like this :-)
