Since my long bed scanner, which sat next to my lap top on the little desk space in my studio, stopped functioning, I had to rely on the scanner in my husband's studio. Okay, must also confess that his studio is just down from MY studio space, but getting up and going in there to put my stuff on the scanner, then walking back to my lap top to wirelessly scan (this is amazingly futuristic) then walk back and do another scan, sometimes is annoying. It breaks my rhythm of playing. Or perhaps I'm just being lazy. But I've decided that in 2014 I'm going to be better that this because 1) I'm getting such lovely Mail Art from people, so generous to share with me their works of art and want to acknowledge it, and  2) it's good to have an archive of Mail Art on the inter-web.

So here are some more received mail pieces.

Limner's signature can be seen in this sweet illustration. XXJones sent the big painting/collage. Lynne Gurnee send the window viewer illustration. Really appreciate them so much.  The Suite 16 postcard is a collaboration between me and La Marquesa. I send it to her with the leg and circles in 2011. She says that she recently rediscovered it and found the perfect pieces to complete it. I agree, don't you! Collaboration is such fun.

Our dear Celestial Scribe sent another amazing piece. The envelope AND the contents are as usual so well done, giving me lots to explore visually.

So, my IUOMA friends, excuse my not giving each piece it's own scan each time.
