ARTSURPRISE's credo is to produce unique works of art in series through the choice of means, the choice of work process and the technologies used. This respects the rules of the art market, to create serious, comprehensible offers as well as the intention of potential art buyers to acquire unique works.
All of this results in a great challenge for artists, especially those who work in the fields of painting or drawing.
How can you create an adequate work on the one hand, and on the other hand remain efficient and effective in the effort of producing it. There are artists who resolve this apparent contradiction, and in doing so, a completely new visual language is created and with it a new aspect of contemporary art. The individual work is closely connected to the other works in the series, it has the desired unique character, but it also extends into a larger work of art that is supported by the series as a whole. The individual work thus also later connects the art lovers who have taken on this work.
Imagine that, perhaps in a few decades, you will be invited to publicly display the work you have acquired in a special exhibition - the theme of which will reflect the phenomenon of the ARTSURPRISE project - together with other examples from the same series. Maybe this work will be one of these, as one of the first paintings in ARTSURPISE (Juan Petry).
