David Staffords's Art Opening at the Diane Keys Gallery a raging success!!!!!

The opening was a success. We had approximately 1,223 visitors, of which 5 signed the guest book. They had this to say about David's latest series of artspace desktops:  "Where is the bathroom?"  " Stafford provides a framework through which understanding obfuscates unknowability."--Dave Hickey, Food Critic Magazine. "Where's the food?"--Dave Hickey, Food Critic Magazine  "I was a little disappointed as I was hoping to see more of David's spleen shaped rock installations, but began to see the beauty and subtlety of his newest series. I took it to mean that it is not the creation itself , but the act of creation that is important.  That, or he's getting lazy." "How do I go about purchasing a David Stafford original? I want it on my wall next to my Mondrian--to which I see similarities.I've got a budget of $100.00 Does he barter?"

The highlight was when David began doing impromptu caricatures of the guests. He then mixed and matched their body parts,  an exquisite corpse-esque commentary on the quintessence of exquisite corpseness. David, sofa-size would be good. Could you do colour coordination? -  But really, I would be happy with anything. We have been thinking about building an extension - it could be specifically designed to house your work. That would be a dream! I also have some space under my bed.

would you like your art 'sofa-sized? order the David McStafford wile supplies last. David your commitment to great customer service is honorable, but you can't keep giving it all away! How will you ever afford a new wardrobe? You just can't reason with artists.

David has been bringing tears to our eyes for two years. Welcome to the club, xx. "Not a dry eye in the house."

David Stafford's popnoir work is still reasonably priced anyway. Day's Inn cancelled the deal when they actually saw the images, so there's a flood of them on the market. Why would they say this isn't good motel room art?

Goldurnit, XX this is breaking my heart. I'm going to circumvent the will of the powerful gallery owners who don't want you to own a Stafford and send you ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE an original giclee of a print of a concept. By me...

What a shame, I waited too long, I dont think I can afford a Stafford now.
