After I picked up this card from the mailbox and reading it while taking the stairs I was so taken by the story that I ended up at the fifth and last floor in front of the landlord's door :-)) and back down again....
David is such a talented storyteller he must be known way beyond the borders of IUOMA. I let you enjoy the story...
The ink splash drawing (I'm sure that's not what it's called) that goes with it is fantastic, and the self portrait sleeping, what can I say? I love it! Thank you David!

Thank you, Marie for your kind blog and IASH....I do have strange dreams. Saturday night I dreamed I was in charge of taxing B movies, that is, movies with bees in them and I had this horrible fear that the bees were going to come after me for taxing their movies...Kafka meets debt ceiling madness...mixed with a dash of Gogol.

Very cool portrait in dip pen.  And I totally know what Marie is talking about- David's stories tend to make me forget to look where I'm going.  Good thing I usually have a seeing-eye Corgi to return me to the apartment door.
