Ancient Artifact from Nikoya Mills

Pictures do not do this work justice. Nikoya has assembled a book made out of playing cards. similar to the first piece of mail art I received from her, she has done intricately woven work with wire and beads. The image inside is a broken hand with a fortune bursting out. It all appears to be coated in beeswax. Really beautiful use of collage and paint and would you consider wire fiber?thank you so much Nikoya. that it came wrapped in beautiful neon tissue paper made it that much more fun to open

Thank You so much and I am glad you liked it.... I use crayon and an old white candle to put wax on everything it is a sweet addition.  I learned a lot from this piece and I look forward to making more books from cards.
