'on the side of the angels' from NBS

The joy of the elements of this piece go beyond the visual which may be difficult to believe. Nancy layered  fine parchment papers. Both splendidly painted and collaged. The other element here is the SOUND of the paper when lifting to peek beneath. so multi-dimensional Nancy. an angel peeks through the window on the upper left. Gracias NBS. It's always a pleasure doing business with you. ;--)…

eyeballs, mona, cowboy + arty slides

Vizma's arty slides are very intricate and relate to the 'journey'. the other with a time traveled cowboy on a bucking bronco, tiny cowboy, how did you manage that? Her caption on the collaged card reads, " someone to watch over roo".

Great package Vizma, thanks.

And from Tic Tac a fab envelope and arty slides. TicTac Tv, a must watch. The EYES have it. thanks…

Marie Wintzer "intention to wishing"

exquisite and delicate. beautiful and haunting.

Made with printed tissue paper and bound with threads tied in small knots.

Marie's poem is as follows:

"the sight of a reason,

the same sight slighter,

the sight of a simple

negative answer,

the same sore Sounder,

the intention to wishing,

the same splendor,

the same furniture."

my oh my. a graceful and bewitching boekie Marie. I love it.…

A Guido original of course

Guido, your envelope was laying on the floor for its photo shoot when i noticed how it became part of it. This is a good thing. we spent 16+ hours on hands and knees staining the concrete. This probably doesn't mean anything to anyone, but it just looked great lying there. Thanks Guido.…

Feel like a million

from the envelope to the gifts inside these pieces of MA blew me away. This is one that 'must' be held to feel the 100% cotton paper. Carina used a graphic press and said  it is an "easy peasy" etching process. The details, the imagery, the entire package is one of my favorites. AND a self portrait inside a translucent envelope, and a map of an area of Finland as a backdrop. So lucky to have received this unique and thoughtful piece.…
