Excellent tape art from Jon arrived in Greece today! YES! "great value"!

Many layered and very special...needs to be "read" carefully.

What a great birthday surprise was in my mail box from Jon Foster.

Who remembers those recording tapes and "portable" tape machines? ( I do :-0 )

It is a really  old, "vintage" tape box, and it is full of wonderful mail art omens and treasures,

(no trash here :-) …

Jon Foster is creating LARGE tape transfer art! (23 x 28 cm)

"Boys Life" arrived in Greece, and did not fit in the mail box,

but was not lost, just tossed on the stairs.

It endures a LIFE time...completely sealed in tape :-)…

This is another beautiful tape-transfer from Jon.

He has a wonderful way of "picking-up" text and images

with packaging tape and then creating these mail art pieces!

Always a good mail art day…

Jon sent his "NOSTRILS know hare" CD and it arrived in a fun envelope!

Amazing layers of colors and textures! and Jon has added what looks like frames from slides? 

Plus, there is some "asemic" GREEK writing...mathematical Greek, no doubt.

Well, "GENERAL"...hate? It is a multi-layered tape transfer image, full of "characters" , some smiling in a vintage-postcard-ad way! Other image is a first-aid "helping hand". One has to not pass over art by Jon lightly. As multi-layered are the imageds he uses, so multi-layered it the art with meaning!…

"The man with the red s...... is a most......." mysterious message, Jon,

will need help here. But the layers of images are fantastic, and it adds

to my collection of your "eye" art! 'Love it! Thank you!
