MailArtMartha's Dining Room Gallery

The blog I had has disappeared, no idea why. I asume I must have clicked the Delete without meaning to do so. I could not restore it, I am so sorry. So I did the best next thing: I have uploaded again the main photo of each string. I am so sorry1

With thanks to the Sticker Dude, Dr…

Anything Goes...Everything Shows 12th annual, Entries due Sept. 24th postmarked

12th Annual: Anything Goes—Everything Shows is just that, an uncensored free style mail art show. Mail art is art that uses the postal system as a medium. Mail artists typically exchange ephemera in the form of illustrated letters; zines; rubberstamped, decorated, or illustrated envelopes; artist trading cards; postcards; artistamps; faux postage; mail-interviews; naked mail; friendship books, decos and three-dimensional…

A Mail Art call

My friend owns a gallery and has gotten interested in Mail Art, so much so that she plans to share it with her community.

She's got a Mail Art call now, which I've posted to Mail Art Projects. Send her something! It'll be on display in a gallery!

Here's the info:

The Annual Box Show at Gallery Route One in Point Reyes, CA

I got lucky in the lottery at GRO and am now on the Annual Box Show list until I ask them to take me off.  Woohoo!  I love Box Shows!

I finished my first box for the show (opening will be on August 3rd) and will take it over to the gallery tomorrow.  I really like how it has turned out and, if no one else buys it, I certainly will.  The annual Box Show is a fundraiser for the gallery so the boxes are bid on over a 6 week period.

Here's an image of my box - Blue Forest…

Mail Art Martha and her Shopping Trolley Art Gallery in London - The Flim

When I was in London, I had the chance to meet in person Mail Art Martha and see her famous Shopping Trolley Art Gallery.  We both agreed that there is no reason not to share these moments with other Mail Artist, but also the whole world.

I hope you enjoy this new star of the silver screen in her acting debut.  Here is the link: http://youtu.be/oQlUFrpRUvU

My stampsheets are still in New York, I want them returned.....!

Greetings from Dadaland was an exhibition at the Stendhal Gallery in April-May 2010. I sent in a selection from the TAM Rubberstamp Archive and went over myself doing a lecture explaining my views of the network. One year later I am confronted with a real problem connected to this exhibition. Harry Stendhall, the Gallery owner of Stendhal Gallery , has yet to return the 670 stampsheets he has in New York. I have asked him often, also asked John Held as a currator to help me on this but the…
